Date: Tuesday 26th July 2016 – 7:00 pm

Venue: Cheeky Parties, 38 South Road, Waterloo, Liverpool. L22 5PQ

Following on from the success of ‘Performance’ at Lantern Theatre in May we will be auditioning to cast parts in two short plays, to be performed at Treasure House Theatre, World Museum, Liverpool on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October, as part of the Liverpool Irish Festival 2016.

The two short plays (which will be Irish or/and Irish themed) are still to be confirmed, and will be decided after the auditions, which will be workshop based.

If you are interested in auditioning for a part in this production, please note the following:

  • The plays will each be performed twice on both Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October to capture multiple audiences. The performances will all take place in the daytime, so if you are cast you must be available for the full days. We will confirm performance times in due course.
  • Rehearsals will take place each Monday and Tuesday (depending which play you are cast in) at Cheeky Parties from 7pm – 9pm, starting on Monday 5th/ Tuesday 6th September.
  • If you accept a part in this production, you will be expected to be available for each of the performance days as well as all rehearsals, including all day on Saturday 22nd October, as this may be needed for technical assistance as well as for performances.
  • Alsop Drama requires a £10 up front payment and £1 for each rehearsal session from each cast member. This is to contribute towards scripts, rehearsal venue, production costs and performance licences.

If anyone is unavailable to attend auditions but would still like to be considered for a part, please let us know before the auditions.

We are also looking for extra backstage and front of house assistance, so please let us know or come along to the auditions if you can assist in these roles.

We are always looking for new members so please let us know if you want to come along on 26th July.
